Brown and Sharpe No 0 Plain Horizontal Mill. A friends father in law was getting rid of some things to make space in his garage. He told me if I could move this, a wood shaper and one of those rattlebox craftsman bandsaws, I could keep them. The mill looks heavily modified on the drive side of it. No back gears, missing linkage for power feed.

Hey guys, I just got a Brown & Sharpe #2 Vertical Milling Lt. as a Christmas gift from a good friend of mine, I ordered a operating manual from ebay for it but it's not the right one, it's for a newer model than mine, I ran onto a list of serial #'s & dates, and from what I can tell mine was built around 1938, the serial # is 1399. Does anyone know where I can get a operation manual for it.

Thats a bridgeport head on a brown and sharpe horizontal mill. From the looks of it, i would not touch it with a 10' pole. Unless you plan on tearing it apart and servicing the entire machine. Honestly that thing is in rough shape, if the outside is that bad id hate to know what condition the motors and everything are in.
