Re: Arbortech Mini-carver Susieq, I have the Arbortech mini-grinder. It is pretty straight foward to use but will "kick back" if you try to carve with the end, not unlike a chainsaw. A pretty aggresive tool so care needs to be taken, but not as wicked or scary as grinders with chain wheels. I stay away from those nasty little thngs!

Very, very pleased with this purchase. Having previously used the Merlin system by King Arthur, I found the Arbortech to be a solid, effective, durable tool. While the Merlin is a much lighter unit, it is prone to over heating after a short time. In contrast, the Arbortech mini grinder is hard working and very durable.
