In the early 1900s the Lehi Roller Mill and Elevator company served local farmers around Lehi, Utah. In 1905, its shareholders invested $20,000 in what would become the Lehi Roller Mills. The new mill, which boasted the most modern equipment of the time, turned out its first flour in April 1906.

Since 1906 the Lehi Roller Mills is still doing what it does best: turning out high-quality baking flour. If you have seen Footloose (1984) then you have seen our mill. Since then Lehi Roller Mills has been nationally recognized as a historic place. In 1952 we sold a bag of flour to Kentucky Fried Chicken. KFC still buys our flour today.

Lehi Roller Mills is one of my favorite historical structures. It was built in 1905 by a co-op of Lehi, Utah farmers who wanted a closer place than neighboring American Fork to mill their wheat. George Robinson bought the mill in 1910 and his family has run it ever since.
