So a FEED MILL can be a steel BURR MILL or a HAMMER MILL. Small table top mills with steel plates that are sometimes used to make coarse corn meal can also be considered GRIST MILLS along with the stone mill counterparts. To keep things simple, I usually just refer to things as feed grinders, stone grist mills, or hammer mills.
