It was a "bigger" machine than its "replacement". Griz advertised it as a A1S-A type machine. When I bought mine, I thought mine was this machine, with just different paint color. But the 1004/1008 was last listed in 2001 catalog, I didn't get mine until I returned to the states in 2004, memory isn't a good way buy a machine.
