A friend invited me over to his wood this morning to watch him planking some oak with his Stihl 660 and a Logosol Big Mill Basic & Timberjig. Its a similar set up to an Alaskan Mill, but the 'Logosol Basic' comes with two clamps that screw on the ends of the log, and an aluminium rail that runs between the clamps along the length of the log.
