The solution I found was to turn the spindle on at say around 20rpm (low rpm with indicator in spindle)then turn the spindle off. Now you can turn the spindle by hand without getting an alarm. Oddly, on occasion, the spindle is locked. Kinda a funky issue. There is a parameter in the control to allow you to spin the spindle with the door open.
