Purchased the Hunter portable sawmill to cut logs into lumber. Instead of paying a logger to clear and take the logs, I decided to do it myself. This is a very well-made piece of equipment! I have cut a number of logs, mostly oak, 16-20″ in diameter. This sawmill does the job! Portable, so you can bring it to the site and mill on the spot.

The mill is very good, and my only problem has been heavy logs pushing the mill out of alignment. We skid logs with a tractor, and use two 4x8 timbers for now as a log deck. One of the logs I cut was a 30" x 8' ash, and that was hard to turn manually, but we got some nice 20" wide boards.
